Our Training Program
The choreographic training program draws upon over 50 years of teaching experience from Nektarios and Agis Toursidis.
Educational Years
This 3-year course consists of biweekly rehearsals with the primary goal of imparting the fundamentals of Caucasian and Greek choreography to children, preparing them to successfully audition for the children's dance ensemble.
Annual exams take the form of open lessons where parents and instructors serve as spectators.
1st Year
The first year, open to 6-year-olds and above, focuses on introducing dance as an activity, instilling rhythm, teaching basic steps, and emphasizing discipline in the rehearsal process. Older children are seamlessly integrated, with the option to transition to their age group.
2nd Year
In the second year, children are encouraged to learn step combinations, small choreographic segments, and technical elements.
3rd Year
During the third and final year, students are prepared for ensemble auditions by teaching choreographic patterns.
Summer Camp
Stages required: 1st Year, 2nd Year, 3rd Year
Summer camp holds a significant place in our academy, open to students who have completed the third year and are aged nine or older.
Over the course of 7-10 days, students from various classes and cities convene, experiencing a period of independence without parental supervision. Beyond dance classes, daily activities include swimming, running, football, basketball, movies, and games. The camp's objectives are to foster a sense of family through shared living, instill discipline and responsibility by being away from parents, and enhance dance skills through an intensive athletic and dancing program.
Auditions

Upon completion of the summer camp, students are well-prepared to successfully audition and join the ranks of the children's dance ensemble.
Children Dance Ensemble
Stages required: Passed Audition
The children's dance ensemble actively engages in performances at theaters and open stages across Cyprus, and it extends its reach by traveling abroad to participate in international festivals and competitions. This journey is enriched with beautiful emotions and memories that create a fulfilling and unforgettable experience for all involved.
Auditions
Stages required: Children Dance Ensemble Completed
As individuals enter adolescence, those displaying exceptional talent and commitment are selected to advance to the main dance ensemble through a final series of auditions.
Adults Dance Ensemble
Stages required: Passed Audition
The ensemble showcases its performances in Cyprus and internationally. Members are not only performers but are also encouraged to acquire teaching skills. Upon attending seminars and completing a trial period, they have the opportunity to become future instructors at the academy, contributing to the ongoing legacy of dance education.
